Check out the Disabled People's Association Singapore (DPA) for the latest in disability news. DPA has a comprehensive site, which lists down services, statistics and upcoming events for persons with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, as well as information on assistance schemes for individuals and families. It also archives news articles on disability issues.

A Family Service Centre (FSC) is a first stop neighbourhood social service centre that provides integrated remedial, preventive and developmental services to help families manage their responsibilities and problems. 

All FSCs provide the following programmes : Casework & Counselling, Information & Referral, Preventive & Developmental Programmes for children, youths, adults and elderly. Call the Helpline to contact the nearest FSC. 

*Handicaps Welfare Association (HWA)

*National Council of Social Services (NCSS)

NCSS administers the Special Assistance Fund which, provides financial assistance to people with disabilities from low-income families to purchase equipment or technical aid for mobility or rehabilitative purposes. 

*PCF Headstart Fund 

*MCYS : financial assistance for the needy  
 - childcare, kindergarten education, student care and others

*MCYS Disability Portal    Financial Assistance   

*Assistive Technology (AT) Fund  
AT devices help individuals with disabilities to study or work alongside their peers. These devices help to maintain or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. Some examples of AT devices are computer-assisted aids and hearing aids.
