I have many hobbies and interests, some how they keep changing and I seem to be having increasing more and more interests and hobbies!! However, I must say that my greatest interest lies in TRAVELLING! Well, who doesn't like to travel? I remembered my first trip oversea was way back during my army days. It was during the end of my national service and I took a few days leave to Thailand with some friends.

My first adventure travelling started during my second year in NUS. It was a 23 days trekking and sight-seeing trip to Nepal. Nepal is a very beautiful and interesting country. She has many interesting activities and sights to offer to travelers. Apart from the sights and the Himalaya, the Nepalese are very friendly people. Since my first trip to Nepal in April 1994, I have been back there once in June 1996.The 1996 trip was a self-organised trip comprising of 11 people including myself and my mother! Yes, I managed to talk my mother into going Nepal with me and she had a great time there (apart from the trekking, she was 54 years old at that time). I am still interested in going back, so if you are interested to go, send me an email!!!

Beside Nepal, my longest trip was a trip to Europe in May/June 1995. I was there for 41 days and traveled around to a total of 10 countries. I started in Prague, which happen to be my favorite city in Europe, then to Athens (Greece). Next was Austria then to Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands and finally London!! Switzerland is another amazing country with fantastic mountains and people!! It was great to end my trip in London, 'coz I missed my Chinese Food!! I do miss Europe a lot, but guess it will take me a long time to save up for another trip there!

Being in Asia, I have been to most of the SE Asia countries like Malaysia, Indonesia (Bali and Lombok), Thailand, Vietnam, and also Hong Kong. Bali , Lombok and Vietnam are a few countries I enjoyed. If you ever go to Bali, hop over to Lombok and the Gili Islands are a MUST to visit.

In 1997, I went for my second long backpack trip to Australia. I was there from 30th May to 1st July 1997. I started my trip in Brisbane, went to Gold Coast as well (and most of the theme parks too!). Then it was Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide (via the Great Ocean Road). I like it very much in Australia because of its weather and more relax life-style. Having stayed all my life in a modern city like Singapore, it was a very nice change to be in Australia. I manage to go back to Bribane and Goast again in Dec 1997 as a tour leader, was a totally different feeling this time, very bore and lonely throughout the 7 days there...

My lastest trip was a one month trip to USA and Toronto(Canada).  I started my trip in LA for a nite, then spent 2 nites at Las Vagas. Next was one week in Sandeigo and then to Orlando and Maimi for one and a half weeks, went to Universal Studio and Disney MGM studio when I was in Orlando.  I only stayed in Maimi for 2 days and a nite. From Orlando I flew to Toronto and spent 1 wonderful week with some friends there, I just love Toronto!

After Toronto, I flew to San Fransisco, my last stop.  It was a very cold and windy week in SF, sure wish it was warmer! But Yosemite was beautiful and I would love to see it in winter if I have the chance. But of all the things that I like most during this trip was the Asian Food in USA and Toronto! They are so Good! I had the best Timsum in SF and lunch in Toronto was almost always Vietnamese Phu! Wish we have some of those Vietnamese noodle house in Singapore and not forgetting Vietnamese coffee!

Sports? Well, I am not a sport fanatic, BUT I do play some sports. I used to play volleyball back in college and Uni. I love the game but its not easy to find 11 others to play with! I also like tennis, but again I am a beginner and still have lots to learn! I also play table tennis way back in secondary school.

I also like to cook when I am in the mood. I enjoy italian pasta and also all sort of pastries and desserts. I also like kareoke sessions with a few friends. I don't usually go to clubs and bars cos I don't like noisy places, but I do go to a bar occassionally with some friends.

Wow!! I have spoken so much about just some of my interests, guess I don’t have much space for my other interests!! Email me if u are interested!!
