- What are the recommended dimensions for my PixAround Scene?
For compatibility across browsers, at least match the
height of the PixAround Scene (image) with that of the Java applet. The ideal
image height, however, is 1.2 times that of the applet height. For example, if your
image height is 180 pixels, set your applet height at 150 pixels.

- I can't see the scene on my PixAround Webpage. What's wrong?
If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 & above:
This problem could be due to the cached files which
are still residing in your system. To solve this problem:
- Launch Internet Explorer
- Under Tools, select Internet Options.
- Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files to clear your cache.
- Click Settings and make sure that the option "Check for newer versions of stored pages
every visit to the page" is selected.
- Click OK.
If you are using an earlier version of Netscape or IE :
- If you are using an earlier version of either
browser, you may want to download the latest release
from the respective Web sites. Another possible
reason is that you are using the beta version
of our software. Click
here to download PixMaker Lite, the latest
version of our software which allows you to snap,
stitch and publish 360° PixAround Scenes,
PixAround Webpages and PixAround Postcards within minutes.
If the problem persists, please email us at support@pixaround.com.

- What can I do if the image hangs or is showing
weird refresh behavior while viewing?
The above problem may be due to a Netscape bug. To
overcome this, you may want to visit http://help.netscape.com/
to download the latest version of the browser. Alternatively,
you may want to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above.

- I can't view my PixAround Webpage when running
Windows NT4.0SP and using IE 4.01 SP2 browser. What's wrong?
Please run a check on your Java configuration,
access and console for error messages. To reduce memory
usage, keep the image file size small by using a lower resolution.

- Some of my photographs appear over-exposed and
some, under-exposed. What should I do?
Don't worry. At the stitching stage, PixMaker will
automatically correct the color of all over-exposed
and under-exposed shots to blend in with the rest of the shots taken.

- I'm able to see the image published from my
PC but not when I have up loaded to the Web server. Why?
When you publish your image in HTML format, 3 files are generated. They are:
- *.jpg (the stitched image)
- *.html (the HTML codes)
- *.jar (the Java applet)
Please ensure that all the files generated by PixMaker have been uploaded into the
same directory so that the HTML codes are able to
reference to these files. Alternatively, if you have stored
the image and Java applet files separately, ensure
that the path in your HTML is pointing to the correct folders respectively.
Another problem is that the Web server is case-sensitive
to the HTML codes. Ensure that the cases on file
names in your HTML codes are correct. For example:
<uPixScreen.class> and not <upixscreen.class>.

- My published stitched image cannot be viewed in Netscape. Why?
It may be that your stitched image is more than 4080 pixels in length. Images of this length
cannot be viewed in Netscape. To solve this problem, reduce the pixel length of your image.

- What is the size of the published PixAround image?
The size of the published PixAround image ranges from 60KB to 800KB, depending on the
resolution of the individual images used.

- How do I improve the PixAround image quality when it is published to HTML?
Publish the PixAround image again as a "Scene" instead of a "Web page". Replace the existing JPEG file
in the HTML with the new JPEG file. The image in the HTML should be improved.
