ACECO was incorporated on 23 May 1974 in the Republic of Singapore as a joint venture company. It's now comprising of the following parties: The Furukawa Electric Co Ltd, Japan one of the world's leading manufacturers of electric wire and cable, nonferrous metals and other related products. Nissho Iwai Corporation, Japan one of the leading overseas trading company in Japan. Yu Yee Engineering Pte Ltd, Singapore a prominent civil contractor in Singapore.
