In this era, working full-time doesn't necessary mean that you'll achieve a comfortable life.

   My husband and I both work full-time and as our family starts growing - just got our own little bundle of joy :) - our financial needs increase by two-folds. We find that even with both working full-time, there's no guarantee that we'll be able to afford a comfortable life till we depart this world. We also find ourselves worrying about whether we can afford to raise our kid and future kids comfortably - food, clothes & shelter is one thing, but giving your kids the foundation they need to lead a comfortable life is another.

   My husband and I have come to realise that having full-time day-time jobs are no longer a sure thing. The recent years have shown just how insecure our jobs are and that as a typical family, if any of us gets the axe or pay cut, we're in serious trouble holding things together.
