AE Models Group
1979	AE Models Group was established in 1979 preliminary doing business majoring in engineering design check models for oil and gas, chemical, food processing and energy related industries. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1984	As demand for factory automation picking up in Malaysia and South East Asia, AE Models Group, endeavor to diversity and venture into other business, set up subsidiary in the name of AE Eltromatic (M)Sdn. Bhd. to cater for the electrical and electronic, and other inndustries. Initially, trading was done on motors, automotion parts, sensor, semiconductor and components. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1986	Through years of R&D and due to strong market demand, AE Models Group started initialing on the concept of design, manufacturing various material handling conveyor system and automated assembly line production system. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1988	AE standard range of mini conveyor series was launched and marketed. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1991	AE Automotion (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established to design, manufacture and install material handling and factory automation system. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1993	AE started working in association with Maruyasu Kikai Co. Ltd. of Japan on joint projects for designing and manufacturing automated factory machines and equipments. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1994	AE Automotion (M) Sdn. Bhd. signed joint business co-operation agreement with Maruyasu Kikai Co. Ltd. of Japan. Maruya-AE standard range of conveyor systems with improved design is marketed. AE Automotion (S) Pte. Ltd. was established in Singapore to cover a wider market. ^{^{Return to Top}}
1995	P.T. AE Automotion Indo Utama was established in Indonesia. Maruyasu Kikai and AE Automotion (M) Sdn. Bhd. joint venture to set up Maruyasu-AE Systems Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. to expand business into regional market. Maruyasu-AE Systems Engineering (T) Co. Ltd. was established in Thailand. Malaysian AE Models Holdings Sdn.
