This division handles the Maritime Arbitration
and ADR matters. AMPL accepts appointment as Arbitrators for Maritime
Arbitration. We are member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators,
U.K.
This division also handles ADR - Alternative
Dispute resolution, such as mediation, early neutral evaluation,
and conciliation. These are increasingly becoming the preferred methods of dispute
resolution where parties have an on-going business relationships
and need to resolve outstanding shipping issues through a neutral
third party experts in a friendly and informal manner.
Capt. Cheok, LL.M., a Master
Mariner who also holds a Master of Laws Degree [Shipping] and member of The
Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, U.K. and Singapore Institute of Arbitrators
accepts appointment as Arbitrator and Expert Witness.
Our Legal Manager is a
Barrister-at-Law,
Middle Temple, U.K. and was called to the Singapore Bar. Had practiced Law in Singapore as an
Advocate and
Solicitor since 1995 specializing in Litigation. For further
