1. Thermal Insulation

This forms the majority of our Projects and can be either New Projects, or Retrofit work. We are equally proficient insulating pipework and ductwork.

This work will almost certainly be undertaken using our own direct labour, because Quality is of paramount importance. We have very capable supervisors, each having many years' experience, to ensure adherence to only the highest standards of workmanship.

Pipework: We specialise in the insulation of Chilled Water Pipework, which has a much higher skill requirement compared to "Hot" pipes.

Our own in-house Tinsmiths are capable of providing a quality finish using Aluminium, Stainless Steel, or GI Sheet.

1. Ductwork

This is another sector where we 'dare to be different'.

Koolduct: We have for many years been working very closely with the developer of a revolutionary system of 'preinsulated' ductwork, perfecting it for the Asian Market, utilising Phenolic Foam as it's base material.

The product offers so many benefits compared to traditional ductwork that eventually, every Project that demands installations of the highest quality, efficiency in operation, with quiet clean ductwork, would utilise it.

All of our staff has been trained in the fabrication and installation of Koolduct.

 

Sheetmetal Ductwork: We have experience of all types of ductwork installation.

Usually we would operate on a 'Partnering' basis teaming up with the same contractor regularly so that rapport is built up. This undertaking benefits the client as it minimises the coordination problems that normally exist when more than one Contractor is involved with an operation.

Where appropriate, the traditional duct installation will be installed in conjunction with the Koolduct system.

2. Vibration and Noise Control

We have had considerable experience retrofitting noise control devices and materials so that the occupants can enjoy acceptable conditions. We have worked within many prestigious buildings to correct poor workmanship or to overcoming the effects of the general lack of awareness displayed by most M+E Contractors when undertaking the initial installation.

Again, this is work that will only be undertaken by our direct labour.

Due to the nature of the work, it is essential that it is installed correctly 1st time, otherwise the Client, who has been recommended to us by his Acoustic Consultant, will lose confidence in us.

3. HVAC Control Wiring

This item would normally be undertaken on a 'Partnering' basis.

We have completed many large commercial projects of this type, each time, teaming up with the same Partner. Our Partner undertakes the installation, we perform all aspects of planning and management.

We have in-house capability to prepare CAD Drawings, manufacturing of panels, site wiring and commissioning.

4. Maintenance

Our supervision staff has a strong background in Hotel Maintenance, accordingly, we are ideally placed to be able to offer this service.

All of the maintenance contracts we have undertaken have made use of our own direct labour.

5. Equipment Installation

The usual method of installing HVAC equipment on a 'near enough is good enough' basis, using cheap poorly designed supports, is not acceptable to some clients.

We have undertaken the installation of 76# Vertical Laminar Flow fans within Clean Rooms, and 83# Jet Fans in the Central Expressway Tunnels.

This work is always undertaken using our own labour, in accordance with strict procedures agreed prior to commencement.

6. Pipework Installation

Depending on the size and nature of the work, this would normally be undertaken on a 'Partnering' basis whereby we would undertake the Thermal Insulation and Project Management, with our partner undertaking the pipework installation.

7. Duct Cleaning

With the dramatic increase in Contractors undertaking cleaning of HVAC ducts, we again have 'dared to be different' and are developing our own niche whereby we clean only the inside of Kitchen Grease Ducts.

It is an unpleasant job, but one that needs to be undertaken by personnel who are aware of what they are dealing with. Our staff, through their experience of HVAC Ductwork systems knows the problems that will be faced gaining access too the duct, when working within it, and when sealing up on completion.

As it is an unpleasant job, it is entrusted only to our own employees to ensure that it is done correctly. Sub contract unskilled labour might not be quite so caring.
