Joint-venture established in Shandong province with Shengli
Petroleum to establish Shandong Fou Tai Aluminium Co. Ltd.

Joint co-operation with Sietam Industries S.A. (France) for
advance airport projects and automobile assembly line projects
in the region.
1996
Completion of large advance powder coating project, first of
its kind in the southern hemisphere for Skope Industries Ltd (New Zealand) and
establishment of ASSE-NZ operations for Australian market expansion.

Investment of RS$20 million in Indian Company in Madras for the
company's market expansion in India.
