Who am I? My friends call me Bel. My students call me Ms Quek. As you would have guessed, I am a teacher. I am currently teaching in a secondary school where the students ranges from 13 to 17 years old. I think it's pretty obvious what subjects I am teaching. I specialise in Physics and Mathematics. How about Girl Guides? That's a Co-Curricular Activity(CCA) that I am in charge of in school. Coming Up... A blog describing my teaching experiences and my life will be up soon.   Interests Tennis Tennis Tennis...That's my fav activity. I try to play it once every week if possible. Books...I like to read. One of my fav books is 'Sophie's World'. If Philosophy is your cup of tea, this book is a must-read. 'Tuesday with Morries' is another good book. It touches my heart when I read it. I also like the 'Harry Potter' series, so I never fail to catch the 3 installments of 'Harry Potter' movies so far. If you are interested to know about slavery of women in our modern society, 'Sold' and 'Promise to Nadia' by Zana Muhsen will not fail. Though depressing, it made me realise how fortunate I am as a woman in Singapore. Shopping and Movies...These are the hobbies of many people. In Singapore, there isn't much that you can do too. Not that I lead such a boring life with only shopping and movies in my life, these two activities is very therapeutic to me, especially with the job that I'm in.
