Pics of new Tiga Toys! NEW!

New Figures of Kamen Rider Kuuga and Ultraman Nice! NEW!

Quick Index

Welcome to my collection of UltraHero and UltraMonster series of 6" soft vinyl figures. Most of the toys featured here were bought from my "expeditions" to Tokyo, as Singapore does not have most of the UltraHero range, much less the monster series ( running up to 138 monsters at latest count ).

In keeping with the Alternative Ultraman theme, I will feature the figures of the rival Ultramen in my collection. The UltraHero soft-vinyl figures were bought at the Japanese retail price of 600 yen each.

Included as well are some of the non-Ultrahero series figures, from Yutaka and the candy toy line.

 ULTRAHERO SERIES FIGURES

The Figures pictured below are manufactured by BANDAI Japan.

  • EVIL TIGA
  • Ultrahero Series Additional Figure
  • Made in China 1997
  • Comments : The surprising thing about this figure is that it is smaller than the 3 TIGA types. A cool silver and black design that is very different from the red/purple base colours of ULTRAMAN TIGA.

  • NISEI ULTRAMAN DYNA
  • UltraHero Series Additional Figure
  • Made In China 1998
  • Comments : This figure is based on the Ultraman DYNA Miracle Type design.

  • ZELGANOID ( Super Combined Humanoid )
  • UltraHero Monster Series No. 122
  • Made In China 1998
  • Comments : Zelganoid is the last in the DYNA monsters series. The design is somewhat akin to a cross between DYNA and a spidery silver monster. Note the similar egg-shaped eyes and the colour-timer on the chest.

  • ULTRAMAN AGUL
  • Ultrahero Series No. 31
  • Made In China 1998
  • Comments : The first blue and black Ultra figure. No similarity to the ULTRAMAN GAIA design.

  • ULTRAMAN AGUL Version 2 ( V2 )
  • Ultrahero Series No. 34
  • Made In China 1999
  • Comments : A Powered-Up .version of Ultraman Agul. Note the chest design that looks simlilar to Ultraman Gaia's.

  • ULTRAMAN AGUL

( Movie Box Set )

  • Ultrahero Series No. 34
  • Made In China 1999
  • Comments : This version of Agul with the punching pose is packaged in the Movie Collection Box, along with Tiga, Dyna and Gaia in various poses. The lone monster in the box set is SATANBIZO, one of 4 monsters in the GAIA/DYNA/TIGA movie.

.

  • NISEI ULTRAMAN AGUL
  • Ultrahero Series Special Edition
  • Made In China 1999
  • Comments : Nisei ( Fake ) Ultraman Agul was the form taken by the Metal Entity known as ALGUROS to challenge Ultraman Agul. To differentiate between the real Agul and this duplicate, just look for the red eyes ( dead giveaway! ) as well as the silverish-gray markings ( as opposed to black on the real Agul's body ).

  • ULTRAMAN SHADOW
  • Ultrahero Series No. 26
  • Made In China 1997
  • Comments: Probably the first breakthrough in the concept of archetypal Ultraman figure, SHADOW's yellow and black colours complement the design based on ULTRAMAN ZEARTH ( Ultrahero Series No. 22 ).
