Objectives

To provide a personal development planner (PDP) tool for key employees. This tool is a Lotus Notes application that is accessed by the employee to manage his/her competencies as required by the company.

The company HR functionsets-up the competencies for each job, and the employee is evaluated against how quickly they gain new knowledge and thus a higher level of competence. To measure the increase in human knowledge as represented by an increase in competency.

Access either by the corporate Intranet by Lotus client software, or across the Internet using a free browser from home or from a remote work location.
