Objectives

To educate and inspire company management in new ways to manage their business in the knowledge economy. These courses are designed to introduce managers to a newly developing value system for companies, provoked by the knowledge economy and electronic commerce.

The course explores the new valuation scheme, and explains the concept of Intellectual Capital value and how it is driven by knowledge. Participants explore four knowledge areas in a company that add up to the new knowledge value. For each area, the knowledge drivers are discussed and ways to measure these new drivers are revealed.

Tools and techniques for coping with the increase of knowledge are explained, with practical exercises and discussions.

Who Must Attend

Senior executives who wish to understand how knowledge drives the knowledge economy, and how this affects their business. Managers who are required to increase the knowledge in their companies by the use of modern tools and techniques. Knowledge improvement team leaders.

Methodology

There are two variants of this workshop material:
- KM 100 A half-day introduction for Senior Executives
- KM 110 A one-day seminar for managers and team leaders

Sessions are conducted by a Senior Consultant and comprise of lectures, demonstrations, videotapes and practical exercises. Each participant receives a comprehensive study guide containing the presentation graphics, notes and glossaries.
