Things i am Doing/Expriencing Recently

Dec 2002, Completed BMT at Tekong. Posted to Sembawang camp to become Automobile Technician (Auto-Tech). needed to drive 3-ton truck so i was on driver course.


Aug 2002, Graduated from TP. Employed to work in TP for a month before enlistment. NS is due on 21Aug thus gonna prepare.

15Aug, my teammate Shanshan bought her parents over to the lab to visit my boss and i. Pretty scary since its like the convectional "meet the parents" and if she were to conplain to her dad how i "ill-treated" her, will i get into serious trouble??
Well, the answer is no trouble but my boss and i do have some problem when her dad (also an engineer) whom starts chatting with us about engineering terms in Chinese. (Such as Cam systems and linkages). Wa........chimz......

16Aug happens to be my driving test date and on the same time my graduating ceremony. Didnt managed to go for the ceremony but i managed to pass my driving test with only 12 deremit pts and a immediate failure which the tester didnt wanna count (lucky me!). Been driving Dad's huge car with little problem (although its automatic and need more cornering space)

Mini-Z race at 18 Aug, i got C-main Champion again. Had a good race but also a tough one. But my Beetle spoil. :(

April 2002, most stuff are proceding well and i m enjoying life. However, being threathened to fail my last sem by one of the lecturers wasnt nice. Subject is Thermal and Fluid Enginnering. Final quiz and exam paper was done pretty OK. so....... passed lah...

SRG2002, we didnt not do well cos of poor support and bad luck. Most of the robots did well in the first half of the game but either failed or lost in the second/third/final round respectively.
Nevertheless, we were not sad, cos by presenting the robot in the manner means the job of the robot have been fulfilled and its the best we have done.

Then getting to meet a former Primary school schoolmate Alvin Koh, have changed my life a little. I was back into RC cars again. My team and him started racing Mini-Zs at S.C. and we have participated in a few races (reminding me of the good old days) which we won a few prizes and lucky draws... <grins>

Aug 21 2002, i will be serving the army which will be a long 2 year away from home all weekdays. I will also be updating this site less.

Doing my 3rd and last year in Temasek Polytechnic, my final year project involves building Gladiator robots. However, i m also involved in designing and building 20 other robots for SRG 2002. Other than that, i am still looking out for potential girlfriends. (Grins)

Meanwhile, i am still flying my radio controlled helicopter, driving my antique radio controlled cars and building my plastic models during my free time at home. The helicopter i m flying is still the electric powered Voyager while the car is a Tamiya 4WD chassis. Part time job at TP allowed the 3 hobbies to survive.

Late July 2001 to September 2001 to me was one of the most horrible part of my life i ever exprienced. Massive amount of unknown pressure was on me (Terry was sick , my Air-con leaking again , my grandma losing her hearing and pressure from my school supervisor and bla bla bla could be the reason).  There was even an urge to commit suicide but that was really stupid. It could also be the paint I am inhaling that caused the emotional distress (hehe) but after the September holidays, i felt much better and caused less trouble.

I have always been known to many as a happy man until this period in life and i started to tok a lot of rubbish to people/friends during that 2 months...... luckily its only 2 months of "shit" .  I should be talking less crap now.
