My local Futaba agent had a warehouse sale and for S$100 ( US$ 58 )
, i was able to bring a Completely "NEW" set
of radio home. A discontinued model since 1982 ( DAMN, that was the year
i was born....) , it came in a package shown below.
A FM 27 Mhz system , other than cleaning up the corroded connectors, hooking up a TX battery pack was all needed to fired the system up. All servos worked , however, the battery was probably dead so i decided to leave it alone so is the "outdated" charger.
Upon opening the servo, i was shocked to see Helical gears, Square output
shaft and intresting electronics
In those days, the connectors are what u see above and can be quite
crappy since they tend to bend
So, anyone wanna pay a higher price for this set of antique radio....
If u buy before feburary 2002, i think the one year GURANTEE
FROM FUTABA will still be VALID
...... :)
