Voyager Elizabeth's internal Components
Lets get back to business
I did many modifications to my voyager througout the flights
Putting the speed control to the gyro platform will enable shortening of power wires, while direct soldering of wires to motor and using low loss battery connectors will increase flying time.
The GY240 gyro on top of the receiver. Note the neatness of wires....i could boast on that!!
Rounding up the tail, a home made tail servo mount??  (well this might cause some questions to be asked!!)
A layer of 3M double sided tape and cable ties is very very strong. Hitec HS 85-BB provides the torque to do stall turns.
The control rod is carbon fibre rod instead of the heavy piano wire.
Blue object is a Heat sink that draws heat away from the motor. Effective yet lightweight.
The brushes in the lower portion of the photo are worn and reduced to 1/4 its original length
This is the photo of the broken grips.  quite brittle and fairly strong  but it does the job rather well....it could be caused by me twisting too hard??  spindle is an amazing 4mm!!
