Volunteer Resource Network (VRN) was first setup in Jan 2004 with only 4 volunteers. Over the months, we have grown to about 1200 volunteers in the group and we are lending our support to 49 other non-profit organizations in their events and activities
We are NOT a charitable or welfare organisation but a Volunteer Group, which brings together volunteers and welfare organisations for a common purpose.
Our pool of volunteers consists mainly of working adults and mostly people between the age of 25 years to 35 years old. The youngest volunteer is 15 years old and the oldest who are already grandparents over the age of 70.
Our volunteers came from a very diverse background and different fields of expertise. We have doctors, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, social workers, counsellors, teachers, photographers, event organizers, engineers, accountants, performers, IT specialist, pilots, police, army personnel etc.
