- Reading
- I like reading, but not every books thrown to me. I like
reading history book. Many people tell history is
history. If you are thinking this way, you are WRONG.
History is a great source of wisdom. Wisdom is power.
This world is repeating herself again and again. If one
can learn something from our ancestor, a lot of mistakes
can be avoided. Still in doubt? Grab a history book off
the bookshelf in the National library. Put in some effort
and time and see what you can learn. If you get nothing,
I sorry to tell you miss a lot of wisdom and fun and your
life will be boring.
- Music
- Music is something as interesting as history. But it
takes me a lot of time to appreciate the beauty inside a
song, especially those hottest singers in town. The most
impressive person is Emil Chau of Rock Music Taiwan. A
lot of people think that Emil is from Taiwan. Not true.
He is from Hong Kong.
But he studied in Taiwan and started his career there. So
people always mistakenly think he is Taiwanese. It's not
surprised since he carries strong Taiwanese accent even
when he speaks Cantonese.
- Writing
- I like writing. Maybe because I like reading. I wish I
can publish my own book one day. My novel, my poems and
maybe thesis. And when I am 80 years old, I will be
sitting on a walking chair and telling my grandkids my
stories if they care to listen.
- Sleeping? Maybe!
- Sleeping is quite luxurious and it is basically a waste
of time in some sense. Some "experts" did some
"researches" and "concluded" that
sleeping is not necessary. If you are tired, you can take
a nap and regain your energy. Anyway, no matter it's true
or not, I think it is still worthwhile to sleep. I quite
enjoy sleeping. But I am not a lazy bum.
