Chem-Mech Services was established in 1989 to represent and distribute marine technical products for manufacturers. Promoting sales in Singapore and  around the Asia Pacific region. In 1995, Chem-Mech Services became affiliated with Uniservice Gruppo and assisted in establishing Uniservice International SA.

The Uniservice history goes as far back to 1917. Through the years, Uniservice has been producing maintenance and treatment chemicals, anti-corrosion coatings and ballast tank coatings. Uniservice today features three modern production facilities and a distribution and services network in over 762 ports. To expand customer service, Uniservice has included into the network the delivery of welding and refrigeration gases.

Chem-Mech Services also distributes container lashing materials, hatch seal repair kit, fabrication of heat exchangers and  supplying equipment spares.
