Toa Payoh Bus Interchange

The Bus Interchange is temporary located on the opposite side of the MRT station. Once the construction is complete, it will be located just on the top of MRT station.It is very convenience to travel around Toa Payoh as the bus service has provided short ride service around the neigbourhood.



Furthermore, it is just only 6km away from the city centre. It is well-served by the expressways and major roads as well as excellent public transportation.

Transportation network proposed for the Toa Payoh planning area include the following:

• Extension and widening of Toa Payoh West to link Toa Payoh Lorong 1 and Thomson Road.
• Realignment and widening of Toa Payoh Rise.
• Provision of primary access network at Toa Payoh West and Toa Payoh Rise to serve new development parcels.
• Upgrading of Mount Vernon Road to a primary access road to serve the new housing areas.
• Realignment of Bartley Road/Upper Paya Lebar Road junction to ensure a smooth traffic flow.
• Provision of a service road along Braddell Road to separate industrial traffic from residential traffic.
• Improvement to access and traffic flows within Kampong Ampat industrial area.
