Description

The queenfish is a long and is laterally-compressed fish.They have green backs and their sides are usually white or silver.Theres also a series of dark blotches along its side.

The common weights of the queenfish are from 1-7kgs but they can grow up to weights of 10-15kgs.

They travel both in groups and alone.They prefer slightly discoloured or green water and warm water.Their source of food are mullet,anchovy,garfish,small fishes,mudskippers,prawns and squid.
