DSL DUNS ERROR 650, 718, 721

Broadband Error 650, 721, 718: PPP Timeouts - The port was disconnected by the user


 Extra Notes for USB/Ethernet ADSL modems:-
(1)  The most likely reason for one of the above errors is some kind of Broadband Network Problem. Follow the guidelines below:  (source: tiscali.co.uk)
 Solution 1 :  After receiving the error, wait 15 minutes, reboot the PC and try to connect again...
 Solution 2 :  If you receive the same error, please call 0870 744 2922 and select option 1 for 'Service Affecting Information'. On this option you will be informed of any Network Outages we may be experiencing. check with your ISP if there is any Network Outage.
 Solution 3 :  In the rare case that we are your ISP is experiencing a Network Outage please be assured we will your ISP be working on the problem to restore service as soon as possible. Please be patient, and from time to time attempt to connect, hopefully the problem won't last too long!
 Solution 4 :
 If we are not your ISP is currently experiencing a Network Problem, it is possible the problem may be with the PC.
 Solution 5 :  Try disabling any Firewall or AntiVirus Software to see if the same error occurs. (Don't forget to re-enable after the test!)
 Solution 6 :  Try recreating the Dial up connection
 Solution 7 :  Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Modem. (Applicable to USB modem like Sagem / Speedtouch. And perhaps to PPPoE client like WinPoET. ~chohmeng)
