    What Our Certified Technicians Do
Automotive Fluids Besides oil, your car has several types of fluids throughout its system. These fluids play an important part in reducing harmful friction and providing hydraulic power. For more information about automotive fluids and their service, please refer to your owner's manual or speak with a CL Auto representative.

    Brake Fluid

The main purpose of brake fluid is to absorb moisture. Without it, rust can form on the inside of the brake calipers and the master cylinder may not operate properly. For more information

    Transmission Fluid

Vehicles with automatic transmissions require transmission fluid. It protects the transmission from running too hot, especially during strenuous conditions such as towing or steep hills. If you will be putting more driving stress than normal on your vehicle, it's important to have your car inspected and serviced to prevent the transmission from overheating. However, completely flushing and replenishing your transmission fluid requires a specially-designed machine. So, we suggest taking your vehicle to an authorized Gemini retailer to have this service done.

    Coolant (Anti-freeze)

A vehicle's cooling system needs a combination of water and coolant. This mixture protects the cylinder heads, radiator, water pump, engine gaskets and the heater core from erosion which could occur from using water alone. The mix of water and coolant also keeps the water from freezing, which is especially important for vehicles that perform in temperatures below freezing. For more information

    Oil & Filter Change

AMotor oil lubricates the hundreds of moving parts in your engine. This prevents parts from wearing out before their normal lifetime and helps cool the engine. The oil filter, on the other hand, removes dirt and contaminants from the oil. This way, only cleaned oil will move through the engine.

Since the oil and filter play such an important role in engine performance, it's important to make sure they're changed regularly. While you can never change your oil and filter too often, we recommend changing them every 3,000 miles. This will help your engine run better and last longer.

To find out what kind of oil your car needs, you can refer to your owner's manual or look on the lid of your oil cap. Or, simply stop by an authorized Gemini retailer for complete oil service. Gemini experts use superior brand oils such as Exxon and Kendall, and are always happy to answer any question you have.
