Profile of Charles Ong

Charles, consultant and co-founder of Associates Consulting Pte Ltd, is responsible for training and consulting clients to establish ISO quality management systems.

As an IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) trained Lead Auditor, he has assisted numerous companies with their ISO implementations. His exposure to industries such as, trading, manufacturing, construction, marine related-services, engineering, automation and service industry have provided a platform for him to acquire their unique way of operation and allowed him to pick up their strengths and weaknesses. With this, he is able to help clients ride on their strengths and improve on their weak spots through his consulting service.

Prior to his consulting profession, Charles has spent 6 years working in the sales and marketing environment serving both MNC and local SME companies. He is exposed to both local and regional markets as well as direct and distribution/channel selling.

Charles also performs well in his National Service obligations. He completed his 2½ years of full-time service in the Artillery formation with the appointment of Battery Sergeant Major (BSM). Moving into NSmen cycle since 1995, he was promoted in rank in year 1996, 1999, 2001 and he is currently holding the appointment of Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of a National Service Artillery Battalion.
