Butterfly Life Cycle 
Butterfly Life Cycle has 4 stages

The Eggs - The adult butterflies with lay their eggs on the type of plants which their caterpillars will like to eat.

The Caterpillar - Caterpillar or Larva will then hatches from the eggs. The caterpillars have enormous appetite. The caterpillar will eats and no stopping of feeding on the plants. Eventually the caterpillar will grow to its full size.

The Chrysalis - Caterpillar will spin silk to cover itself. This will form into a chrysalis and inside this shell it contain the pupa. The chrysalis is attached to the branches of the plant.

The Adult Butterfly - The pupa will then grow inside the chrysalis to a adult butterfy. The adult butterfly will then emerged from the cracked open chrysalis. Initially, its wings are still wet, soft and crumpled. It will be ready to fly once its wing is dry and hardened. Butterfly feed on nectar of the flowers using their long proboscis.
