View all the different fonts in your pc, on a
single screen. You can easily select, delete, or add fonts
into your computer just by following the menu bar!! Why

heard of this excellent free software. The current version comes
with a split screen where you can make simple html edits and send the
file directly back to the server. However, when closing the
program it has a commercial pop up to ask you to buy some other
products. So i used the older version of coffeecup which is not
in circulation anymore, there's no nag-screen. (Their
website also offers other freestuff like free fonts, etc.)

just like Adobe Photoshop or other high quality commercial programs
except that it is completely free. Very well written and suitable
for almost all the normal things you would want to do with digital
photo editing and managing. It's written by a Bosnian guy with
really handsome features, he's got a short write up of himself on the

INTERNET FILTER FOR PORNO, etc - CYBERSIEVE It
is absolutely essential that EVERY parent should install some form of
filter in those home PCs which are used by their kids for internet
surfing. In Singapore, even though service providers block some
sex sites, it is a fact that there's still a huge and readily
accessible list of highly pornographic sites which can be called up
through Google search, or which could be accidentally called up
when your child uses the internet for school work or games.
After i upgraded to broadband, the first thing I did was to spent several weeks trying out various shareware web filters which block objectionable websites. The pc and internet was out of bounds to the kids till i finished my installation and evaluation of a suitable pornographic web sites filter. After evaluating about 5 different products, I gave the thumbs up to a program called "Cybersieve". It's the best in terms of user interface, ease of use, and accuracy of the filters. It costs US$39.95 paid through internet. Not so cheap, BUT A NECESSARY INVESTMENT. Don't try to save money, don't delay. Objectionable web sites filter is necessary for the sake of the keeping young minds clean. I would certainly not allow my kids to visit any friend's house to "do homework" if there exist an internet line and a pc in the house which is not protected by Cybesieve or any other similar web filter. http://www.softwareforyou.com |
