THE PEARL (AUSTRALIAN) ARROWANA

This is also quite a beautiful Dragon Fish. It is quite similiar to the Golden Arrowana, except that it has a dark ring on the edge of its scales. The easiest way to differentiate between this arrowana and the Golden Arrowana is that the latter has 5 layers (horizontally) of scales whereas the former has 7. It is also not a protected species but is much more beautiful than the Silver Arrowana.
