Avidat Forensic PCs are optimized for stationary laboratory
acquisition and analysis. Simply remove the
hard drive(s) from the suspect system and plug
them into Avidat and acquire the digital evidence.
Avidat will acquire data directly from IDE/EIDE/
ATA/SATA/ATAPI/SCSI I/SCSI II/SCSI III hard
drives and storage devices and save forensic
images to DVD, CD or hard drives. These systems
also acquire data from floppies, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM,
Compact Flash, Micro Drives, Smart Media, Memory
Stick, Memory Stick Pro, xD Cards, Secure Digital
Media and Multimedia Cards. Furthermore, with
the SAS drive adapter, it is capable of capturing
evidence from these latest types of hard disks.
With a large data drive, it has an incredible
2.0 TB (2000 GB) of internal HD storage. All
systems include the write blocker, custom front
panel connections, and removable drive trays
so there is no need to open up the processing
system to install drives or crawl around the
back of the unit to attach devices

SHADOW

|
 |
The "Shadow" is a device, which is installed between the suspect's IDE drive controller (motherboard) and the suspect's hard drive. The Shadow allows a system to be booted into its "native" environment by internally caching all writes and modifications. This effectively maintains the forensic integrity of the suspect hard drive while storing and managing all operating system (and software) writes and modifications. The Shadow ensures that all updates and writes are cached internally while passing through reads of unaltered data (from the hard drive) and redirecting reads of data which has been modified (from the internal cache). Since the Shadow operates at the physical level, it is compatible with all operating systems, file systems, and disk access methods.

SHADOW 2

|
 |
The Shadow 2 is a patented computer hardware device that is designed to aid the investigation of a computer's hard drive. It provides investigators with read write access from the host computer's perspective, while maintaining the original hard drive unchanged.
The Shadow actually redirects all writes to the Shadow 2, at the host-to-drive physical interface level. At any time, the investigator can 'Zero' the Shadow, thus forgetting all writes that occurred to the Shadow 2, which allows the investigator to begin again after only a few seconds.
Shadow 2 One of the primary benefits of the Shadow is that it enables an investigator to boot and view a suspect's system on site, without threat of altering the evidence on the boot drive. You have the ability to install investigative tools to examine the suspect drive without ever changing the original. Boot and view the suspect system just as the suspect sees it.

HARDCOPY

|
 |
HardCopy offers remarkable speed at a remarkable price that saves forensic examiners both time and money. The new device enables forensic drive duplication at sustained speeds up to 5.5GB per minute, which is only limited by the speed of the disk drive itself. This performance compares to current products that are advertised to support 3GB per minute duplication speeds, which are rarely actually achieved in practice.
The Hardcopy was built to compete directly against the Logicube Forensic MD5 and the ICS Solo-3 products. Hardcopy is not only fast, it is exceedingly simple to use. Hardcopy uniquely captures the image of the target physical drive and outputs a single file making it more convenient for examination with leading forensic software products.

HARDCOPY 2

|
 |
Copies drive at up to 5.5 GB per minute, built in MD5, lightweight, all the power of Hardcopy and then some! Hardcopy 2 adds the ability to chunk the data during a hard drive image, to ease archiving later. Each chunk is stored with a CRC and MD5 is available on the entire image.
Hardcopy 2 is faster than Hardcopy on some older hard drives.
Hardcopy 2 Your hard drive imaging needs are increasing, hard drive capacities are increasing, but your imaging equipment is not keeping pace. The Hardcopy 2 breaks the speed barrier at up to 5.5 GB per minute. Tired of waiting for your image to finish? Use the Hardcopy and forensically duplicate more drives faster today.
The Hardcopy is incredibly easy to use. A simple 3 button interface and straightforward easy to understand display. Hardcopy works very well with laptop adapters and SATA converters to give the investigator the ability to copy any ATA or SATA drive as quickly as possible.

Write Blocker

|
 |
The T3458is mounts in one 5.25" half-height drive bay at the front of a forensic
workstation and connects to the host computer via one FireWire 800 and one SATA
(optional) host connection. When both SATA and FireWire ports are connected to the
host, the T3458is provides intelligent, redundant data transfers. Like all other
products, firmware updates are performed over the FireWire host connection which
offers a quick and seamless firmware upgrade experience.
The T3458is automatically defeats HPA and detects DCO regions on IDE and SATA drives.
Optional drive adapters to the base package are: IDE 1.8" and 2.5" (TDA5-18, TDA5-25), IDE ZIF (TDA5-ZIF), and microSATA (TDA3-1)
