You have nothing to fear except for fear itself. If your English language is not too good do not worry too much about it. Technical English do not bother too much about grammar or style. More over in cyber space everything is very impersonal.
IT is very friendly and very easily to learn. It is just a communicative language. Every thing I have done here you can do too. I am a senior citizen, a dinosaur of the IT age, but I found fun in getting to play with IT. I am sure you will too once you get started.
