2012 FEBRUARY PRAYER WATCH

1. PRAY FOR THE 98 EHC OFFICES WORLDWIDE: HQ recently set up EHC Laos and are looking to revitalize EHC Vietnam and Taiwan. Pray for the EHC offices they are working on to prosper the Gospel for the Lord.
   
2. GROWTH OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIPS WORLDWIDE: There is now over 190K EHC Christ Groups worldwide. About 90K are under the care of churches and growing fast. Pray for more of them to grow into full-fledged churches.
   
3. BOOK SUPPLIES TO CHINA: Many readers compare a good book to a sumptuous meal, and hope to share it with others. Discipleship, Prayer, Evangelism and Theology are topics in demand. Please pray for the believers.
   

MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA

1. PASTORS, CHURCH LEADERS AND MINISTRY WORKERS: Many local churches are in need of new blood to succeed the ministries. Pray for the churches of Singapore, the modern day "Antioch", to be replenished by the Lord.
   
2. VOL. 2 OF DR CHANG LIT-SEN'S SYSTEMATIC THEO-LOGY: Vol. 2 will be available soon and we are raising funds to pay for the printing. The son of the author, Dr Zhang Changji, had raised some funds for the book too. Pray for the book to be a blessing to readers.
   
3. PRINTING "WHAT IS LIFE?" AND REPRINTING "WHERE CAN YOU FIND TRUE LOVE?": Thank God for the brethren who manage to give out over 60K tracts every month in 2011 and bring in new believers to the churches. Pray for more brethren to join in the effort.
   

UE: PRAY FOR THE YOUTH & SENIOR MINISTRIES

1. REPRINT 50K COPIES OF "HOPE IN JESUS' RESURRECTION": This tract will be available before Easter for Christians to tell others that Christ is the risen Lord. Pray for systematic distribution by churches.
   
2. EASTER EXPOSITION RALLY ON 5-7 APRIL 2012: The passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the core tenet of the Bible's teachings. It is a testimony to the Church's purpose and a message we all continue to spread. Pray for the Lord to renew our vigor through these rallies.
   
3. PROJECT SQUIRREL BOOK GIFTING & FUNDRAISING: "Thailand/ Myanmar/ Vietnam/ Cambodia/ Laos" are popular church mission destinations. EHC has offices in all except Vietnam as funding local co-workers to spread the Word can be more efficient than deploying missionaries. Pray also for the book gifting ministry.
   

WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA

1. SENIORS MINISTRY WORKSHOP 8-11 FEB 2012: Last year's training was attended by over 400 brethren. More people are concerned about the aged in their families and communities. This also creates an opportunity to reach out. Pray for blessings upon the congregation.
   
2. SCHOOL OF PRAYER AND PRAYER MAP: Intercessors need to adjust their living habits to adapt to a life of prayer and learn new lessons to form their own praying style. Pray for the Lord to lead us in interceding for the world.
   
3. THAI, HINDI, PAKISTANI & BENGALI TRACTS: The Thai version is still not ready, while the Hindi version had printed 200K copies. The Telugu version is being translated, and the Pakistani version also had 100K printed. The Bengali version will reprint 200K. Pray for more brethren to support cross cultural tract evangelism.
   

THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM

1. SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: With the heart of Christ in us, we will be willing to pray for others and offer our resources. Our contributions ought to be done in secret, like what Mary who was most pleasing to the Lord. Pray that we will love those who God Loves.
   
2. PRAY FOR CHRISTIANS IN THE MARKETPLACE: Christians, like everyone else, also need to earn a living. Paul expressed that those who do not work shall not eat. Pray for more brethren to be blessed with higher skills and talents so they can bear a greater testimony and also offer more to the Lord's ministries.
   
3. TRANSLATION OF REV XUE YUGUANG'S TRACTS: "When Will Worries End?" is being translated to Tamil and is aimed at Tamil speakers in Singapore and Malaysia. It had 6 million copies printed in East Asia. The Myanmar, Thai, and African versions will be produced in the near future. Give thanks to God for providing the funds.
   

FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY

1. "FEED 5,000" CAMPAIGN: A brethren from Gansu, China, donated 500 RMB for printing funds in India. The brethren in China are getting more proactive in their offerings. Let us make the effort to offer more towards God's ministries. Pray for 5,000 to be fed spiritually.
   
2. "7 STEPS TO BLESSINGS" & TAMIL "GOSPEL Q&A": The author of "7 Questions in Life" is now working on "7 Steps", and hopes to benefit many believers. "Q&A" is being prepared for printing to be used in Tamil discipleship. Pray for the books to benefit more readers.
   
3. SEHC HAS OPENING FOR EDITORIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE CO-WORKERS: SEHC is looking for new co-workers to succeed the ministry as this writer approaches retirement. The applicant should have a healthy spiritual life and be motivated with a strong sense of mission, and should be fervent in intercession.
   

SAT: PRAY FOR THE PULPIT MESSAGES OF ASIAN CHURCHES

1. "LIVING WATERS" & "THE STORY OF A WONDERFUL NATION": "Waters" is a work of Sis Zhang Jiakun, and had been popular since 30 years ago. "Story" is a book by Rev and Mrs Maak Hay-Chun, and retells inspiring stories of the Israelites. Pray for the books' publishing and funding.
   
2. NEW MONGOLIAN BIBLE TRANSLATION: The new version of the Mongolian Bible had replaced the outdated one for the past 6 years. 1,000 copies of each had been printed to prepare for upcoming needs. Proper printing is necessary to preserve the Bible's sanctity. Pray for funding support.
   
3. RAISING FUNDS FOR CCIS YEAR END TRACT PRINTING: The Singapore Government had allowed the churches to use Orchard Road and the Esplanade Theater on the Bay for CCIS. SEHC will take charge of the tract design and raising of funds for printing. Please lend us your support and also pray for the CCIS event. Pray for the Lord to provide for CCIS' shortfall in funds.
