Our Mission,

"EvalTech is a PCB/PCBA testing facility serving the industry with objective to help clients in gaining Better understanding of the PCB/PCBA's quality that they are producing/buying/using. We are committed to achieve this with our expertise gained thru' years of experience working in the specific field and our value-focus attitude"

Key Services Provided:
We provide services in the following areas;

1) Bare PCB (Double-sided, Multilayer, MicroVia HDI, Flex) evaluations.This includes visual check and micro-section analysis.

2) PCBA evaluations which includes the magnifying inspection of the Solder joints, micro-section analysis on the joint and board such as via holes, dielectric thickness, Copper thickness…etc.

3) Tracing of electrical defect on bare PCB. This includes identifying the defect terminals and narrowing down to the defective location. PCB delayering could also be carried out to identify failure location. (In this case, clients need to provide either Artwork or specific software)

4) Bare PCB or PCBA rework such as jumper wire soldering, manual soldering, manual touch-up …etc can also be performed upon agreement on certain specification.

5. On-site or Off-site PCB/ PCBA sorting.

Other services

1. We can also perform limited Failure Analysis using various. Non-destructive and destructive techniques to identify root cause of failure. We work with partnering lab that perform advanced evaluations such as SEM, EDX, FTIR ….etc.

Turn- round time

Typically, for evaluation assignment, we will complete the job with 48hrs after receiving the samples from our clients. All results will be sent to our clients via e-mail or fax.

However, we do provide quick-turn-around services ranges from hours to 24 hrs depending on the nature of the job. This is subject to bilateral agreement before job commences.

However, for assignments other than PCB/PCBA evaluation, the turn-around time will
be on case-by case basis subjecting to bilateral agreement.

Equipment list

Some of our major equipments include:
1. High magnification microscope ( magnification 10X - 500X ) equipped with digital imaging system and thickness measurement capability.
2. Stereo microscopes with magnification 5X - 100X.
3. Polisher and grinder for micro-sectioning sample preparation.
4. Delayering tools.

PCB/PCBA evaluation package

The package includes:
1. Board Identification.
2. Physical dimension and registration verification.
3. External visual inspection.
4. Micro-sectional analysis
5. Other customer-specific tests.

We will provide report which will list our overall comments on the quality of the PCB and potential improvement areas that can be focus on if applicable.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

We understand the importance of the confidentiality of any assignment entrusted by our clients and thus are committed to take all measures to uphold such policy.
We shall stick to the following measures:
1. Signing of NDA with our clients.
2. We will not keep any data that is belongs to our clients.
3. All the left-over specimens, prepared samples will be returned to our clients after the completion of assignment.
