Phuket, Thailand

The islands off the Andaman Sea (Similans, Surins, Koh Rok, Rachas and Hin Deang) are considered the Mecca for the pacific sailfish. Sometimes it's possible to encounter sailfish that is swimming back to bill, covering for miles! The waters off Phuket are also very rich in G.T.s which prove to be a paradise for popping fanatics and those who enjoy the old fashion slug it out fishing then shark fishing for the giant tiger sharks are a must do!

Currently in 1999 the Thailand marlin record of 508lb was landed off Phuket, Similans. The best months to fish these incredible waters are Nov to April yearly.
