As a member of the HCSSU, you will be covered under the following insurance/cash
assistance schemes.

Mutual scheme I, cash benefit ranging from $250 to $2,000
depending on the number of years of membership and the rate of subscription. Paid upon
death or total disablement of member, including loss of limbs, loss of sight complete
insanity and paralysis. |

Mutual scheme II, cash benefit of $150 upon the death of a
member's spouse (one claim only) or $75 upon the death of a member's child age 1 -
17 years (two claim only). |

Mutual scheme III, cash benefit of $25 per day for the
first ten days that the member is hospitalized.
Cash benefit of $35 per day from the 11th day of hospitalization up to a maximum of 52
weeks.
Additional cash benefit of $20,000 if member suffers permanent disability or loss of life
as a result of an accident occurring after office hours. |

SLF Gift, A Group Insurance for all Trade Union members and
Union Leaders, coverage include death or permanent and total disability during and outside
working hours. Payoff vary according to Natural causes or accidents, during or after
working hours. with Amount $3,500/ $10,000 respectively for Union member, and
$7,000/$20,000 for Branch committee or executive committee members. |
