The uptrend pattern
Uptrend, (also known as Bull Run) is always a happy time for investors. Not only it leds to super capital gains, the economy is also expanding rapidly, jobs and salaries increases. Singaporean Investors / Netizens took a perverse joy in uptrend as can be seen in many of the investment related online forums.
Uptrend
Volume and price slightly out of sync. It is observed that trendline of the price tends to follow Volume.
Bull Flag
Bull Flag represent a period whereby investor took a rest to gather momentum in order to continue the uptrend. Note the surge in Volume when the price break out of the resistance.
Bull Pennant
Similar to the Bull Flag. This represent the sellers, due to experience, becoming more and more aggressive in their profit taking. However the buyers remains confident in the stock.
Bull Wedge
Similar to the Bull Flag. The buyers becomes more eager to buy the stock before each time it bottoms.
