Have the Petroleum Minister and the Prime Minister both seen the Iran pipeline in a new line in recent weeks ? Is the backpedalling one of the quid-pro-quos for US concessions on nuclear technology ? What say the people of India ? I, for one, wasn't a very strong believer in the Iran pipeline but not because of the US opposition but because of the inherent risks in relying on Pakistan to assure uninterrupted delivery.
