The Data Security Oath [The "Hippocratic Database"]
Here's an interesting article on how database researchers are designing a database that maintains the privacy of information. {Kantesh had sent me the link to this article}.
Vajpayee's reply to Pakistan
Vajpayee certainly gave a fitting reply to Musharraf in the UN. What right did Pakistan have to talk about democracy ? It was astonishing that Pakistan still tries to justify terrorism as a freedom struggle. It would take a feat "logical acrobatics to believe that carnage of innocents (in Jammu and Kashmir) is an instrument for freedom and elections are a symbol of deception and repression". Furthermore Vajpayee also pointed out that Pakistan had been indulging in nuclear blackmail as the "new arrow in the quiver of state-sponsored terrorism".
After having been visited by Powell, Rumsfeld and Armitage a number of times, are we still waiting to hear what Bush says to Musharraf ? Does it really matter to Musharraf ? to us ? Let's put forward a resolution for the U.N. to adopt.
