SCO tries to act tough on Linux as well
After having sued IBM for copyright infringement [on the grounds that IBM had used portions of AIX in Linux, when the copyright for Unix, of which AIX is a variant, is owned by SCO], SCO now warns companies that are using Linux. [CNet and InfoWorld reports, and an interview].
This action reminds me of British Telecom's suit against some ISPs alleging that they had infringed its patents on Hyper Links -- the suit was finally thrown out.

Terror and More Terror
The US and its allies keep updating the list of countries covered by travel warnings. As Malaysia's Prime Minister said, the US "is afraid of it's own shadow". I really wonder how many American citizens take their Government's warning seriously enough to cancel or postpone planned overseas travel.
