BT still looking at protecting it's patent on HyperLinks

After having threatened to sue ISPs in the US a couple of months ago, British Telecom has actually gone ahead and sued Prodigy Communications for infringing on it's patent on HyperLinks.

IBM and Seitel to build a 1-Petabyte SAN

IBM is work with with Seitel Inc to build a SAN (Storage Area Network) for seismic data.  It is expected to grow to 1-Petabyte (1000TB or 1millionGB) by the end of next year.  And it could double that within a few years.
