Back at home the next day.

“Master Kyle!!!” Austin shouted as Kyle entered the house. “Where have you been the entire night?” He cried as he ran towards Kyle and hugged him tightly.

“I am alright” Kyle said trying to push the crying Austin away feeling embarrass at that moment.

“Master Kyle” Austin cried “If you went out you should have asked me along” Austin cried as he continued hugging Kyle. “What am I suppose to tell the king and queen if something bad happens to you?”

“Alright, alright” Kyle said trying his best to push him away. “I will call you the next time I went out okay” he said hopping it would get Austin off him.

“You will?” Austin asked suddenly relaxing his gripped on Kyle.

“Yes” Kyle answered a bit annoyed. “I am going to bed” he added before approaching his door and slamming it shut the moment he entered his room.

“Master Kyle…” Austin mumbled “Did you think you can hide your injury from me?” he thought to himself after Kyle left the living room and entered his own room.

Kyle’s room was dark and no light was coming into the room except the tiny ray of sun light that is coming in through the open window.

“I don’t think Austin will miss this” Kyle thought to himself as he removed the bandage from his shoulder to reveal the wound he received yesterday from Lucas, the shadow assassin. “I wonder how Jade is faring now” he thought as he change and got into bed.

Meanwhile in school 

“Is that Kyle?” Jade asked herself as she entered the classroom thinking about what had happened the night before.

Last night, after that accident, Kyle had accompany her home and had insisted to stay with her throughout the night incase she had any nightmare of the incident.

“Is that really the Kyle I know?” Jade thought to herself while yesterday event went through her head. “He is so gentle, so caring…” Jade thought can’t forgetting about yesterday incident.

“Jade?” Her teacher called as she marked the class attendence. “Jade?” Her teacher tried again when she received no reply from Jade.

“Jade” her friend whisper to her to get her attention. When she still seems lost in thought, her friend decided to give her a nudge.

“Ouch” Jade cried jerking back into the real world. “What was that for?” Jade hissed angrily at her friend.

“Mr Harkson is calling for you” her friend whisper back at her.

That is when she heard her name “Here” she imediately shouted putting her hand up to get the teachers attention. “Phew, that was close” she thought to herself as she put down her hand. “But why isn’t Kyle in school today?” she wonder to herself again as she look towards Kyle’s empty seat. “Maybe I will visit him after school.

After School at Kyle’s house.

Ding Dong… the door bell sounded. Kyle got up of bed and walk towards the door.

“Coming” he shouted. When he open the door, he was shock to find Jade outside and stare speechlessly at her.

“Er…” Jade begin abit embarrass. “Isit okay if I come in?” She asked looking at Kyle

“Oh yar sure” Kyle replied snapping out of shock and inviting her into the house.

“Do you live alone?” Jade asked as she enter the house.

“No, not really” Kyle replied “I live with Austin and he is my guardian here”

He invited her into the living room for a seat.

“Oh” Jade replied as she accepted the invitation and settle herself down on the sofa while Kyle brought out the drinks.

“Erm…” Jade mumble as she cast around for a topic while scanning around the house.

“Is anything the matter?” Kyle asked as he settle himself opposite her.

Jade look at Kyle and spotted the bandage arm “Does it still hurt” she asked Kyle

“Huh? Oh it is nothing really.” Kyle said reassuring Jade. “But seriously I am surprise you will come” Kyle said giving Jade a wink.

“I must be dreaming yesterday” Jade wonder to herself. “The Kyle yesterday and the Kyle today are totally two different person.”

“Is anything the matter?” Kyle suddenly asked breaking Jade train of thought. “You look troubled.”

“huh? Oh its nothing really.” Jade replied.

Suddenly Kyle froze in his track.

“Are you all right?” Jade asked worried.

“I am sorry but can you please leave” Kyle suddenly asked

“What?” Jade asked confused.

“Please” Kyle said again sounding sad.

“Okay…” Jade replied uncertain of what was happening.

After Jade left, Kyle change and ran out of the house. Jade watch as Kyle ran off following behind him.

“Whats wrong with you?” Jade wonder as she chase after Kyle to some where she does not know.
