Chapter 9 |

The party was at the entrance of Payon forest. “This
is it” Abyss said as he looked up from the map. “Once we pass this forest,
we will be at the mountain city, Payon” “Lets
move on then” Drake urged the group “I
am tired” Alicia wine. “We
just rest an hour ago and for god sake you are a lord knight and you are suppose
to have high vitality” Drake complained. “I
am a lady,” Alicia countered “ladies have more needs then a guy” “There
we go ago” Crystal whispered to Angel Angel
looked on at the argument with interest while Abyss merely consulted the map as
though nothing had happened when suddenly a loud bang interrupted their Alicia
and Drake argument. They turned towards the forest and saw smoke coming from it. “What
is that?” Drake asked as they ran towards the scene of the sound. “I
don’t know” Crystal answered. “Hurry”
Alicia shouted from the front of the group while Abyss was taking the back. The
group ran as fast as their leg to the scene and when they were nearing the
scene, a sniper ran towards them in the opposite direction, her bow draw and
right behind her were the MVP, Moonlight and Eddga chasing behind her while
Moonlight hurl fireball in her direction. The sniper was badly hurt and one of
her shoulder was burn. “We
got to help her,” Angel shouted. The
team drew out their weapon, ready to strike at the MVP. Abyss conjured a sword
out of thin air and threw it like a boomerang at Eddga. The sword crashes into
Eddga and dropped onto the floor harmlessly. Both MVP turn to where the
disturbance came from and saw the party. “Are
they part of the chosen one?” Eddga asked. “Yes
you idiot” Moonlight replied irritated “Can’t you see or do I have to tell
you everything?” Moonlight
smiled when an idea hit her. “How about we split up the work” she asked. “How”
Eddga answered “You
will handle that party over there while I handle the sniper here” Moonlight
instructed. “Once I finished off that sniper I will help you with that group
as well” “Okay”
Eddga agreed and lung at the party Moonlight
smiled to her self and returned to the sniper only to find an arrow in her leg.
She looked up and saw Vamp readied another shot right at her. She snarled at
Vamp and jump at her. Meanwhile,
Eddga was hurling fireball after fireball at the party only to be block by Angel
invisible shield, basilica. Alicia, Drake and Abyss charged at Eddga when they
saw him changing his battle pattern while Crystal mumble an incantation for a
spell. Drake
held out his shield at charge at Eddga, knocking her a few feet backward. Alicia
took the chance to stick her spear out and trip Eddga when he tried to recover
his balance after the first attack. Abyss ran passed Eddga towards moonlight and
stick a dagger through her. Moonlight howled in pain as she tried to remove the
dagger only to be slashed at by Abyss. Drake
took out his shield to received a blow from Eddga while Alicia stabbed at the
MVP with her spear. Eddga however did not seem hurt at all but was instead
walking as through Alicia and Drake isn’t attacking him at all. “Why
can’t we hurt him?” Alicia shouted to Crystal who was summoning bolts of
lightning to rain on Eddga. “He
performed the Endure skill” Crystal shouted as she directed more bolts at
Eddga. “Can’t
you do something?” Alicia shouted from beneath Drake’s shield as Eddga
pounded on the shield knocking them into the ground with every pound. “I
can’t hold out an longer” Drake shouted. Alicia
turned around and lit up when an idea hit her. “Drake hold on for a while
longer” she said as she cut herself on her arm and let the blood flow while
offering it as a sacrifice for a spell. “Berserk” she shouted as an
explosion occurs beneath the shield and Alicia was red all over her. She
ran up to Eddga and began smashing her spear into him at an incredible speed
that Eddga was caught off guard. Drake took the chance to perform devotion on
Alicia to transfer the damage she received to him self. Eddga
howl at the pain and began trashing about the place but his attack fail as
everyone was protected by a pink shiny wall which encase everyone within it and
block out all damage from Eddga. Eddga
finally fainted when he received the final attacked and drop to the ground.
Moonlight looked in horror as her partner fall. She dodge another boomerang from
Abyss, teleported to Eddga body and teleported away taking Eddga with her. “I
will be back” Moonlight shouted, her voice ranging through the forest and was
once again peaceful. |
