The School
ILS was established with one primary aim - to teach the Japanese language.

To achieve this goal successfully, all classes are conducted by qualified native Japanese teachers who have completed a course in teaching the Japanese language to foreigners. Classes are kept to a maximum size of 12 students per class, ensuring individual attention and a high competency rate.

There are many reasons for learning a new language, for work advancement, dealing with overseas colleagues and clients, holidays, or simply the joy of learning and making new friends. At ILS, you'll find a course suitable for your needs.

The school follows the "The Japanese Language Proficiency Test" (JLPT) syllabus. This test is organised by the Japan Foundation and Association of International Education Japan. The test is held only once a year in December in countries all over the world including Japan. There are 4 levels to the JLPT, Level 1 being the most difficult. By obtaining JLPT 1, students are able to study in the Universities in Japan. It takes about 3 years to attain the highest level (i.e. Level 1), at ILS.
