This lists the English and Japanese names of the basic stances, blocks, strikes and kicks. One of the main obstacles I have encountered is the difficulty in remembering the names. In the near future I will add in the pictures too.

- Heisoku-dachi (Feet together Stance)
- Musubi-dachi (Attention stance/Heels together forming a V)
- Heiko-dachi (Parallel stance)
