Well, in case you haven't already noticed. The wonderful person who went through the trouble to launch this website is none other than the name printed on the title bar of this page!! Ha Ha Ha! Well, since this is a shared account, I've also taken the liberty to reserve a section of this site for the co-owner of this account.(Beam!) And since that person is too busy to put in her bit right now, you're gonna find her page under construction for a very, very long time. (Hee!)
Mysterious is what I like to be 'coz keeping a low profile is something I'd like to do but since some curious souls out there are dying to know who this talented being really is, I will reveal a teeny weeny bit about who I am. (Ta Da!)
The Beginning
Once upon a time, during the Oxen year of about 2 cycles ago, a large white stock carrying a tiny being came flying over the tiny island of Singapore. Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! It was cold rainy night on the 7th month of the lunar calendar and boy, was it a busy night for the stock! He was actually one of God's employees (logistics department) and he had quite a few deliveries to take care of that night. Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! went the huge white bird. He studied his delivery note carefully, circled the skies a few times before heading straight for one of the hospitals and that was how I first arrived into this world. (Didn't I tell you I was mysterious?) I slid down the rainbow and into my mother's arms right after the stock delivered me and the long winding road of life began. (That's quite a story aint it?)
What I do in life
My interests:
Collecting stamps (so if you've got interesting ones, send them to me), reading (I'm a fan of Terry Pratchett and John Grisham), writing, watching cartoons, comedies and sitcoms, playing the classical guitar and the pop piano for leisure, writing to penpals (I've got dozens of them) and oh! Computer games! I go for strategy games not arcade games. You know, like SimCity, SimTower, Descent...
I really enjoy playing and listening to music. I was trained to play the guitar by reading 'tow gay' or 'bean sprouts' (music notes) so I'm more of a 'plucker' than a 'strummer'. And though, I was taught some decent pieces on the piano, I seem to find myself playing the keyboard very much the 'guitar way' i.e chords on one hand and melody on the other. Pop piano is a lot easier than classical piano...
Favourite Food
I'm awfully fussy over what I eat. I ain't a fanatic over Japanese or Mexican or some foreign food and I don't take spice at all. No curry or chilly...I eat to live and not live to eat so I don't enjoy trying out different eat-outs as most Singaporeans do. Fast food and junk food is what I like but people find that hard to tell. I'm a french fries monster and a chocolate queen. You know, like what cookie monster is...
Music
I appreciate most kinds of music. I go for pop, classical pop, rap, techno, sentimental, baroque etc but I can't stand screamings and screechings especially karaoke singers. (eeks!)
Status
Zelch. All the fellows I know are either hopeless, dead, gay or effeminate. And since infidelity and irresponsibility are something that most guys practice, all the good guys face a serious extinction problem in our world. Coz they're either taken, abducted by aliens, brainwashed or have gone through a major operation to cure their identity crisis. (!!!)
Faith
Roman Catholic. Once, when I told somebody that a long time back, I got an exclamation that went like this, "Oh! So you're from Rome ah!" No kidding here!
Favourite Phrase
Are you nuts? Serious Ah? Bygones! (must have picked this up from watching too much of Alley McBeal)
Favourite Pet
Cats, puppies, furry things that come with 4 legs and long whiskers. Includes teddy bears and stuff toys...
Favourite automobile
Wheels that come with a sporty body. The Porche, Ferrari, the Honda Prelude, the Mazda Astina...cars are so expensive in our town, owning a car is like feeding a child so the only set of wheels that I own are ..... matchbox cars!Okay folks...that's about it about myself, just a teeny weeny bit... The Sheep Lost In The Wilderness. A personal sharing. This is a story of a poor little sheep's journey to find the Lord and his Holy Mother.
Carol's Hideout. (Still under construction) I really enjoy writing so I plan to put some creative stuff here. I used to be a fanatic for writing poetry and rap. I even wrote short songs in school to help me remember some of my school notes. It's such a waste that I lost most of my 'master pieces' over the past few years or I would have published them right here....
