The reasons for hoping that there is no reincarnation stem from some personal considerations on what is going on in this planet while we are "alive". Why would I ever want to come back to a place where there is a fellow human being like, say, Adolf Hitler, who directly and indirectly gets about 50 million fellow human beings killed ; or where there is another fellow human being like, say. Joseph Stalin, who directly or indirectly exterminates about 20 million other fellow human beings ; or where there is still another fellow human being like, say, Benito Mussolini, who orders that about 2 million fellow human beings be gased to death ; or where there is an organization of fellow human beings like, say the church of god and its pope, who orders that about 1 million human beings be burned to the stake. Why would I ever want to come back to a place where about 1 million children die every year of disease and malnutrition ; where people blow up each others to bits in the name of god, allah and a town called Jerusalem ; where the fair-skinned human being enslaves and kills the dark-skinned human being for decades. What's so great about a place where the ultimate scope of science and technology is to prove the superiority of a human over another ; where intelligence and knowledge are regarded as the ultimate weapons ; where justice is only for those who can afford it .

Sometimes I think that we are the dead ones, and that when we "die" we actually start living . And as it relates to me, rest assured that when my time comes I'll hop onto my broom and fly away as far as possible and as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your time.
Best regards
