如今已是白头人，     Now that we are of white-head age,
问你还能几度春？     How many more springs can you have?     
君不见手足亲情,      Among our beloved siblings, won't you note,
几个已尽人生道？     Some have reached life journey's end?

壮年甘为儿女牛,      When fit we willingly slogged for our young.
日夜操心为未来,      We cared day and night for their future,  
事事关怀无不至,      And strove to satisfy their every want,  
望子成龙女是凤.      Drangons and phoenixes,we hoped to nurture. 





垂暮之年且静思,      In our winter years let's quietly meditate.
是否也应为己顾?      Shouldn't we reap ourselves some rewards?
枝叶茂盛还劳累？　　 Posterity established, needn't we abdicate?
夕阳时光已不多！     Because there's now not much sunset left!

生活担子不再挑，     Life's burden bear no more,
放下算盘不再打，     Flip-flop the abacus no longer.
求财求富让他人，     The pursuit of wealth let others ,
轻松潇洒渡晚年！     Graciously live and enjoy the sunset years!




良液良食随心喜，　   Eat, drink healthily to heart's desire,　
美景奇观添情趣，     More Nature's wonders for more freshness,
亲友欢聚且高歌，     Partying with kins and pals,heartily sing,
迎风起舞庆丰收！     Bountiful harvest, dance and be merry!

夕阳时光无限好，     Sunset's splendour,radiant and boundless,
彩云红霞满心坎，     Contentment and bliss the heart fill. 
古稀之年金碧辉，     Glorious years, the 'rare' seventies,
愿如松柏心长青！     Like pinetrees,may hearts remain evergreen!
