世纪余晖近尾声， The glow of the Century is fading,       
    松更劲，         The pine remains sturdier, 
    柏更挺。         And the cypress more erect.
    与鹤共舞         Dancing with the crane
    古稀更添寿。 	  Adds longevity to 'autumn' years.
    纵有雪霜盖枝头， There may be frost on some branches,
    心更坚，         But the heart is more determined,
    绿中青！         New sprouts nestle among the evergreen.

   垂暮之年秋之始，Into the seventies' into autumn,
   人生丰，        Rich in life experiences,
   果实壮。        And reap robust fruits.
   与秋同舞        Dancing with Autume 
   丰收更添乐。    Adds bliss to boundiful harvest.   
   秋高气爽不蹉跎，When autumn is high and crispy, tally not,
   趁秋丰，        Rise with the Autumn wind,           
   跨世纪！        Stride into the next Century!
