Life is such a funny creature, slippery and difficult to get hold of. There are so many ways to view it and so many explanations for it, none of which may be true, yet all may hold!! The different facets of life just shows its uniqueness and distinctive feature--so mysterious that everyone yearns to know it but so elusive that no one can ever know it completely.

                     Many learned scholars have tried to unravel this greatest mystery. Famous philosophers like Plato, Aristotle, Socrates have come up with interesting theories of their own. I can never finish telling what their beliefs are, as I'm still in the process of understanding their profound but stimulating thoughts!! Haha, even scientists can be philosophical!! Like the greatly respected Einstein (i came to know about it cos of my ahgong who was doing some research on his great work nuclear physics and relativity..) Actually, everything (science, common sense, maths, philosophy, arts......) is linked in some way or another, just that we are so used to specialization that perhaps the link just eludes us...

                     Actually, my first brush with philosophy was through the book Sophie's World. For those who haven't read it, please do, it provides a brief history of philosophy. Very entertaining! My favourite is The Solitaire Mystery, by the same author, Jostein Garder. In it, all 52 poker cards come to life! They have their own character, personality and habits!! The movie, Cast Away, reminds me of it.. HAHAHA, remember how dear Mr Wilson was brought to 'life' by Tom Hanks?? They were created, yet, without this creation, the creator's survival is probably at stake!! Hmm..
