How to really love your child

First, know your child:
A) The Congenital Temperaments of a Child

1) Activity Level - the degree of motor activity a child inherently possesses
                    which will determine how active or passive he is.
2) Rhythmicity (regularity vs irregularity)
                  - the predictability of such functions as hunger, feeding
                    pattern, elimination and sleep/wake cycle
3) Approach/Withdrawal
                  - the nature of a child's response to a new stimulus such
                    as a new food, toy or person.
4) Adaptability   - the speed and ease with which a current behaviour is
                    able to be modified in response to an altered environment.
5) Intensity of Reaction
                  - the amount of energy used in mood expression.
6) Threshold of Responsiveness
                  - the intensity level of stimulus required to make a response.
7) Quality of Mood (positive vs negative)
                  - the kind of moods from pleasant, joyful and friendly to
                    unpleasant, tearful and unfriendly.
8) Distractability
                  - the effect of extraneous environment on the direction
                    of an ongoing behaviour.
9) Attention Span - the length of time an activity is pursued by a child.
10) Persistence   - the continuation of an activity in the face of obstacles.

Second, love unconditionally:

C) Application : 3 Areas of Actively Loving Your Child

1) Cornea (eye) contact - give him eye contact
2) Physical contact - hug her
3) Focused attention - pay attention to what he says
