Introduction

After graduation, I joined Texas Instruments, Storage Products Group in Singapore as a Servo Design Engineer. My main role with TI is to develop DSP based servo control algorithms for DVD/CD ROM systems. Subsequently, I spend six months in Tustin, California to work on high speeds CD servo algorithms and integrate it to the firmware developed by the Tustin's team.

Basically, I am a self-taught servo engineer. My interest still falls in the areas like Signal Processing and Wireless Communications. I am comfortable with algorithms development and implementation in DSP firmware. The Modified Repetitive Control is one of the worth mention algorithm that I have done to attenuate the fundamental and the multiple of harmonics present in the tracking error signal of a high speed CD ROM drive servo.
