Question :  What is the largest group you've arranged ?

Answer : The largest group was for 18 people who stayed in Redang Bay resort during one of the May holidays recently and the second largest was for 5 couples who stayed in Redang Berjaya.

Question :  Is the place safe for girls only group?

Answer : The place is safe for people of all ages and sexes,
there's even a Marine Police post nearby the island.

Question : How do I call a hotel from overseas?

Answer : The following is the number for Pan Pacific KLIA
( Kuala Lumpur International Airport )

Tel: (60-3) 8787 3333

Note that 60 is the international code for Malaysia, 3 is the
state code for Kuala Lumpur (KL).  However, if you're in
KL
, then you'll have to dial a 03 followed by the number
behind.  Simply add a 0 in front of the 3.

  • If you're calling overseas, dial  (60-3) 8787 3333
  • If you're calling from KL to the hotel,
    dial  03 8787 3333

Note that there are 8 numbers for the hotel number : 8787 3333
Do not be alarmed although the residential and commercial
numbers contain only 7 numbers.  The phone number is correct,
this could be done such that in future more phone numbers can
be generated.

Question : If I am arriving from United States, I'm aware that
there are two airports, one domestic and one international, should I take the plane from the domestic airport since it's a domestic  flight?

Answer : You can take the plane from the International airport
although it's a domestic flight.  This is a better choice as it's less
crowded to go to Terengganu and  the Malaysians themselves
would be using the domestic airport since the domestic airport is
nearer to the city itself.

Question : What does full board package means?

Answer : It means that all the lodging, meals, transport inclusive
land and sea transfers to Pulau Redang is covered for Redang
Bay ONLY.  Depending on which resort you're staying in, the
fullboard package may vary.  Some resorts charge additional for
peak season charges, boat transfers and some for land
transports.

Question : Is the agency affiliated to Redang Bay resort?

Answer : No, this resort was promoted due to its excellent
services endowed on their customers.

Question : Do you have any other resorts to stay since Redang
Bay is only indicated here?

Answer : We cater to all the resorts in Redang, Perhentian, Lang Tengah
Germia etc.  Redang Bay resort in Redang island was promoted
due to its excellent customer services.  A volleyball accident took place near the resort's beach premises and the visitor was injured.   The resort took a speedboat to deliver the casualty to the  mainland's hospital to be treated on the resort's expenses. Isn't this excellent services ?

Question : Why is it that your package is more expensive than a package I took via other agencies ?

Answer : The answer is simply you're staying in a different resort.  We do carry packages that can cost up to RM80 less than the  Redang Bay resort .  It's one of the best value resort that's promoted  here, in terms of price, food, lodging, customer service and  package.

Question : What's the usefulness of "links" provided on your
navigation?

Answer : Apart from the currency exchange, the holidays serves  as an indicator that you should avoid going if possible.  Especially during the school holidays, the people could be more than the fishes, believe it or not!  There's always the monsoon in the later part of the year, so with some compromise and calculations, you're on the way to a perfect escapade away from civilisation !

Question : Where can I see the leatherback turtles?

Answer : At Redang Island, it's possible to see the green back
turtles. But for the leatherbacks, you'll have to goto Rantau
Abang Turtle Sanctuary where the turtles ascend to the shore
at nite.  Hence the trip will leave Terengganu to Rantau  Abang
at 8pm which is approximately 60 Km from Kuala Terengganu and back by 1am.  However, this turtle laying egg season is only from June to September only.  So do your plannings well if you intend to see these wonderful endangered creatures.

Question : Is the place safe from Malaria or Cholera as I'm bringing my baby there, does he need an injection or whatever ?

Answer : I don't recall having a  mosquito bite during all my stay in Redang.  And the way the food's prepared are very hygienic, no complaints of stomach upset whatsoever.  For the water source, either it is from the mountain nearby or transported to the island by the boats daily.  Cleanliness of the resort, tip top! so don't ever worry about getting diseases over there, just make sure you dun bring any over!

Well, to be on the safe side, vaccinations can mean the difference between manageable and miserable right?

This general health guide  gets you more prepared before going to Malaysia.

Answer : By all means, maximize your enjoyment over there.  Catch the boat for the morning snorkeling trip, come back, relax and take a good last look at the beautiful beach, have a good bath followed by lunch and be on the way back to civilisation !

Question : Are the food Halal ?

Answer : The food is 100% Halal as 80% of the staff are Muslim.

Question : Is it possible to go for diving if I were to take the fullboard package in exchange of snorkeling instead ?

Answer : This is flexible, you can choose to go for a mixture of snorkeling as well as diving though ONLY snorkeling is included in your package.  This was a concern raised when one of my clients cited that his diving skills are rusty and need some practice.  Dive boats will be provided and per dive, you only pay RM50.00 which includes tank, weight and a dive master.

Question : Is there any Phone avaliable incase there's any emergency call is needed?

Answer : Yes, phones are available at the resort for you to make any calls.

Word of caution to divers : I've received news of divers upon surfacing to the top, they were hit by power boats.  This incident(s) should make you more alert, next time before you surface, it pays to survey the surroundings more thoroughly.
